Followmont Transport completed construction of their new Cairns and Mackay depots in late 2019. As part of an ongoing commitment to operating in an environmentally conscious manner, there was a focus with both new depots designs to minimise carbon footprints. This drew Followmonts attention to Green Frog solar lights.
As a transport depot, Followmont is operating 24/7. The concrete base design with forklift tine spaces provides the ability to relocate the lights with a forklift. As a result, depots can utilise areas of the yard which awning mounted flood lights wouldn’t reach meaning that trucks can be loaded/unloaded in any area.
The installation of the lights was able to be completed within hours by in house team members thanks to the hinge plate design solution provided.
