solar street lights at Moomba

Moomba – Cooper Parks Facility (Hotel California) – SANTOS

Located approximately 35km from  Innamincka and 60km from Moomba in central Australia, Cooper Parks is a purpose built common user facility located in the Cooper Basin. The facility has been built with a “Town” concept and as such, comprises all the services you would commonly expect from a town: accommodation, meals, laundry facilities, pub, alfresco, bar, dining, fuel, truck stop and wash-down bays. For a remote settlement such as this to be comfortable and secure, perimeter lighting was going to be needed, that’s when KJM contractors turned to Green Frog Systems for a solution. The GFS-200 solar street lights were chosen for their ability to withstand the harshest Australian conditions and reliably operate every night all night at full brightness, without ongoing energy costs. A total of 25 x solar street lighting kits were installed surrounding the entire Cooper Parks Facility on it’s 95 Ha of land.
